The World Premiere of Love Song was presented in March 2006
by Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Chicago, IL;
Martha Lavey, Artistic Director, and David Hawkanson, Executive Director.

Love Song received its European premiere in the West End of London
at the New Ambassadors Theatre on November 25, 2006, produced by
Sonia Friedman Productions, Robert G. Bartner and Boyett Ostar Productions.

JOSEPH ABRAMS (Harry) is a California native with 12 years in NYC under his belt.  He came to study at Circle in the Square Theater School with a focus on musical theater, Chekhov and Shakespeare.  Joseph is ecstatic to be doing his first performance with All Hands Theater Company and doing his second production of Love Song.  He hopes you enjoy the show as much as he loves performing in it.

CASSANDRA GIOVINE (Joan) is so happy to be back on City Island for a second production with All Hands Theatre Co! Favorite past credits include: “Mona” in Dames at Sea (Southern Colorado Rep.), “Heidi” in [Title of Show] (Southern Colorado Rep), u/s “Headshitztress Horrible” in Wicked Frozen (St. Luke’s, off-b’way), and “Carolyn” in And My True Love Gave to Me (Hudson Theatre Works). She has performed in cabarets all over the city, coached young artists in several states, and recently begun work in voiceover. BFA musical theatre SUNY Fredonia. Thanks to the absolute kindness and joyful creativity of the whole team in bringing this piece to life! 

TYGAR HICKS (director, Molly) is proud to bring Love Song to City Island as the Artistic Director and founder of All Hands Theatre Co. This is a play that she hoped to produce for many years and is thrilled with what this wonderful cast has brought to it. Before bringing 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche to Cinema on the Sound, Tygar produced The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window, Almost Maine, and Romeo and Juliet. She is proud to serve as a board member of the Lenaea High School Theatre Festival, servicing over 1300 students across the West Coast, and now sits on the board of City Island Cinema Community Charity, Inc., here on City Island. She looks forward to more productions at Cinema on the Sound, and meeting many more friends and neighbors! 

MICHAEL TEMPLE (Beane) An actor/writer/director, Michael is grateful to make his debut with All Hands Theatre Company in this beautiful play. Some favorite regional theatre acting credits include Bottom (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Benedick (Much Ado About Nothing), Silvio (Servant of Two Masters), Fred (A Christmas Carol), and Chris (Becky's New Car), among others. Michael is thrilled to next bring Romeo and Juliet—the inaugural production of his theatre company, Players Temple—to City Island in conjunction with All Hands. Training: BADA (Oxford); AMDA (LA/NY).
